Or Hauser's rather... I love her too though.

I am trying a second play through of FO4 and I am already having a hard time resisting The call to Piper, then I see this and fail utterly.

Good work.

Thank you Anastasiy, we had trouble finding the right values that didn't look like Ketchup and Mustard.

Piper is sweet... but Dogmeat is my one true companion... he never "really hates that"

I love the pose and subdued lighting, the soft glow, the deeply felt emotions... so different from my "kill 'em all and take my kid back by force" style.

Starting the game I thought Dogmeat was the only companion I was going to have any connection to. I also really like his add-on perks. But in the end I traveled with Ms. Wright more than anyone else.

We decided that Dogmeat (much like Mama Murphy stated) is his own man. No one owns him and he goes wherever he's needed. So you might see him with Buttons, Hauser, or maybe even Mac. But he's no one's "dog".

Thanks Donald for the observations! Hauser may look brutish, but he's rather soft.

I believe Dogmeat is his own level of creation... somewhere between angels and man, he loves all, but not equally. Like Tolkien's Maia, he is an ever-living source of power that spurs mortals on to become their best selves, and winnows out those who have failed.

:D

If you're roleplaying him, Hauser must be a great big old softie on the inside!

I love that portrayal of Dogmeat. I laughed pretty hard at it. XD

I'm glad you liked it! I thought that placing Dogmeat at the same level as Gandalf or the Balrog was fairly accurate... especially considering that he can't die.
